One of Mariah Carey's most famous holiday songs is her cover of 'Auld Lang Syne,' though she doesn't seem to remember the lyrics anymore!
The beloved entertainer took to her social media accounts on New Year's Eve 2021 to share a video of her singing the song a capella.
Ironically, the lyrics that Mariah couldn't remember were the title of the song!
'Should auld acquaintance be forgot / And never brought to mind? / Should auld acquaintance be forgot,' Mariah sang before saying, 'I don't know how it goes.'
Mariah then got out some of the other lyrics, 'And days of auld lang syne?'
'Never could pronounce it properly,' she then said. 'I love you. Happy new year! Let's hope for better, better days, in 2021 and beyond.'
